Whew, I'm here!

Hello and welcome to my blog!  This is the spot where I share my decorating ideas so I can spare my hubby hundreds, ok thousands of "What if we..." or, "I saw this great idea online and think it would be perfect here."

You see, I think I have an addiction.  I think it's harmless.  It's an addiction to decorating, re-arranging furniture and day-dreaming about tearing down walls and relocating HVAC and electric.  Just ask my husband, Brett.  Or watch my 15 month old son Dominic for five minutes.  He's already helping me move furniture from room to room.  He grunts as he "lifts".  I try not to let him do all the heavy lifting ;)  And just this afternoon, he got out his hammer while I ripped out a section of water-damaged drywall.  Too bad I'm not allowed to take the hammer to other walls.  Hmmm, it's probably safer that way!  

My hope is that by putting my ideas in writing (no, my millions of to-do lists laying around the house don't count), I will actually accomplish most of them.  I will be documenting my ideas, cool ideas I see floating around blog land and any other part of my life that interests me.  Actually transforming these ideas to reality comes next.  Of course, each one will have my own twist, usually due to budget (me, cheap?!?).  Then comes the FUN part... pictures and my tips to make it easier for next time.

Wish me luck... the hardest part is deciding which project to start first!
